Churches and Event Halls

Halls, fellowship rooms and event spaces where speech gets lost in the echo. Quiet acoustic panels that help every word land.

When the room fights the speaker

Big halls with hard walls and high ceilings hang on to sound. Words blur into each other, people at the back miss half of what's said, and the sound system gets turned up, which makes it worse.

Acoustic panels on the side and back walls soak up some of that, so speech is clearer and music sounds less muddy. Fellowship halls and event rooms get easier to talk in when they're full.

Designs that fit in

For these spaces we suggest quiet designs that don't draw attention: stone wash, horizon bands, wood slats and deep felt. See all the business panels, or our landscape murals for a feature wall.

Good places to start

If you're not sure where to begin, these are popular picks for this kind of space: Candlelight Row, Dove and Olive Branch, Dusk Horizon Bands and Stained Glass Light. Each one comes as a single panel or in packs of 4, 8 or 12, so you can do one wall or the whole room.

Questions people ask

Will acoustic panels soundproof the room?

No. Acoustic panels absorb sound inside the room, so there's less echo and it's easier to talk and hear. They won't stop noise going through walls, floors or doors to the space next door. That takes building work.

How many panels do I need?

It depends on the size of the room and how hard the surfaces are. A good start is a pack on the biggest bare walls, spread out rather than bunched in one spot. If it still sounds lively, add more on the facing walls. Tell us the room size and we're happy to help you guess.

Are the panels fire rated?

We're still confirming fire testing with our maker. If your building or inspector needs rated panels, contact us before you order and we'll tell you exactly what we can and can't promise.
