We kept this one simple: the animals people stop and smile at. A Sleepy Cat curled up on a cushion, a Happy Dog waiting for someone to throw the ball, and a polar bear standing on a floe of ice.
Everything is drawn from soft, rounded shapes, a bit like an old Scandinavian kids' print. No cartoon characters, no mascots, just friendly animals in calm, slightly muted colours that sit nicely in a real home. Every design is our own drawing, made just for these panels.
Some of these are quiet enough for a living room or bedroom. Polar Bear Floe is mostly cool blues and soft pink sky, and the sleepy cat suits a reading corner just fine.
Others are made for kids. Penguins on Ice and Owls on a Branch work well in a nursery, and the Woodland Friends mural can cover a whole playroom wall. For kids' rooms, please hang panels securely and out of reach, and never right above a crib. You'll find more ideas in the Nursery collection.
Kids' rooms and family rooms are loud. Hard floors, bare walls and a lot of toys make sound bounce around. A panel on the wall soaks up some of that echo, so the room feels softer and calmer. It won't make a toddler quiet, but it does help.
The art is the main thing, though. You pick it because you like the animal, and the quieter room is a nice bonus. Single panels suit a smaller wall, and the 3-panel sets and murals fill a bigger one.
No, and anyone who says so is stretching it. Acoustic panels absorb sound inside the room, so there's less echo and it sounds softer and calmer. They won't stop noise coming through the walls from the neighbours. For that you need building work, not art.
The kids' designs were made with nurseries and playrooms in mind. Please hang them securely and out of reach, and not right above the crib.
No. They're our own simple drawings of generic animals, not any particular breed, mascot or cartoon character.
